Virginia state line
Getting ready to ride out from Washington NC to Suffolk Va. This will be my longest day of the ride, 117 miles I think. And it looks like I’ll have a 10-15 mph headwind. Gonna be a looooong day. Wish me luck and pray that the weather people are wrong.
Post Ride
I made it safe and sound to Suffolk VA! I had a good headwind half of the day, but still made the full 100 miles in about 7 hours. Not bad even with an hour lunch break. I even outran a thunderstorm, or at least that’s what I’m telling myself.
Just four more riding days left, Yeaaaaaa!! I’m looking forward to resting my bum.
Best church sign of the day: If you feel distant from God, then stop running.
